Yada Yada Yada - So much has been said by so many with so little thought. In marketing, graphic design exists to communicate your brand concept. That’s it. You can find all kinds of styles and approaches and imagery, but the core purpose is to promote the clients products and services or to communicate a larger idea or event. Yada yada yada.
Here are some of my favorite projects, some of which are hard to place in the other menu categories.
A multipage complex project - here is the PDF
Envision Planning trade show display and accompanying folding brochure (9x9).
I notice several of these, and others on the brochure page, are pretty busy. That is usually because the client has too many goals for the size of the printed piece. Anvil Graphics is very good at organizing a customer’s text, editing and developing an overall plan to present all the content in an orderly way. A brochure, direct mail or presentation folder are very different in your hand then as an image here. We cutout small mockups of the concept, and use them to study the flow of information and images, so the finished piece is cohesive and flows well. Nowadays the emphasize is on simpler print items with the goal to QR code people to a more informative web page. Below is a “busy” but beautifully designed small brochure for the Animal Clinic, with excellent information flow and organized panels.
