Creative Graphic Design

Yada Yada Yada -  So much has been said by so many with so little thought. In marketing, graphic design exists to communicate your brand concept. That’s it. You can find all kinds of styles and approaches and imagery, but the core purpose is to promote the clients products and services or to communicate a larger idea or event. Yada yada yada.

Here are some of my favorite projects, some of which are hard to place in the other menu categories.

This brochure is commercially printed and mailed with EDDM.
Custom design for the Miracle Worker play at the theater.
This is a multiple page full color brochure for a private school academy for day spa and salon.
This pages insert into a presentation folder. Anvil graphics uses color, typography and images to improve the branding.
This color brochure folds down to make a nice EDDM direct mail piece.
This calendar features a quilt for each month and models. Professionally photographed.
Anvil Graphics designed and printed the folding card which fits in your wallet. We also made the designs for the rubber stamps.
This is a magazine ad placed in a local publication for a security business.
This poster is useful at seminars, events and trade shows. A nice presentation indeed.
Agriculture and agri-tourism need excellent graphic design as shown on this die-cut full color presentation folder.
A full color multiple page booklet featuring the City of Evans.
This tradeshow features Photoshop images to make a popup backwall.

A multipage complex project - here is the PDF

This table top poster display works great at trade shows. The client also uses it at job fairs.
This custom display booth has a matching counter. Also see the printed folding brochure for the special event.
This is a piece of the branding for a trade show event and seminar.

Envision Planning trade show display and accompanying folding brochure (9x9).

This is printed on plastic to make a product bag for the food industry.

I notice several of these, and others on the brochure page, are pretty busy. That is usually because the client has too many goals for the size of the printed piece. Anvil Graphics is very good at organizing a customer’s text, editing and developing an overall plan to present all the content in an orderly way. A brochure, direct mail or presentation folder are very different in your hand then as an image here. We cutout small mockups of the concept, and use them to study the flow of information and images, so the finished piece is cohesive and flows well. Nowadays the emphasize is on simpler print items with the goal to QR code people to a more informative web page. Below is a “busy” but beautifully designed small brochure for the Animal Clinic, with excellent information flow and organized panels.

This color brochure folds three times to make a nice booklet effect.

This video features 31 samples in less than a minute. No audio. Enjoy!
